A spot for Feedback, E-Warranty, Hardware Diagnosis and more!
Now that the July Android security update has started hitting BlackBerry KEYone owners devices, folks have noticed a new Support Center app that has been included in this release. What is it? Glad you asked.
The Support Center app is a basic yet handy app that brings together a spot for owners to send Feedback, fill out their E-Warranty, and since there is no BlackBerry Virtual Expert for the KEYone, it also offers Hardware Diagnosis and info.
The first use of the app comes by way of a customer survey that pops up after the July update has been installed asking you to send any feedback and then from there, it will also alert you to ensure you fill out your E-Warranty.
Naturally, some folks might consider this app as being not needed especially since you can only disable it and not uninstall it once it has been installed, but alas, it’s a pretty handy app to have around and well, if you hate that it’s unremovable at least there’s a feedback spot to let them know.
PS: The July update for KEYone appears as build number AAM481 and is currently rolling out to the various KEYone models across regions. If you haven’t received it as of yet, just check back later.
